How to set it up

Enabling or Disabling the Checklist

At the top of the Pre-Appointment Checklist section:

  1. Locate the switch labeled Enable This Checklist on Thank You page.
  2. Switch it on to display the checklist on the Thank You page after booking.
  3. Switch it off to hide the checklist entirely, even if checklist items exist.

The switch saves immediately -- no need to click a separate save button.

Adding a Checklist Item

  1. Click the Add Item + button below the checklist items table.
  2. A new empty row appears at the bottom of the list.
  3. Type the checklist item text (e.g., "Back up your device data").
  4. The item is added to the list.

You can add as many items as you need. Each item gets a unique ID and can be translated.

Editing Existing Checklist Items

  1. Click the Update Items button.
  2. Change the text of any existing checklist item directly in the input field.
  3. Changes are saved when you confirm the update.

Reordering Checklist Items

Each checklist item has sort buttons (up/down arrows) on the left:

  1. Click the up arrow to move an item higher in the list.
  2. Click the down arrow to move an item lower in the list.

The order on the admin screen matches the order shown to customers on the Thank You page.

Deleting a Checklist Item

  1. Click the trash icon (garbage bin) next to the item you want to remove.
  2. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  3. The item is permanently removed.

Translating Checklist Items

Each checklist item has a globe icon next to its text field:

  1. Click the globe icon on the checklist item you want to translate.
  2. A translation popup opens showing all configured languages.
  3. Enter the translated text for each language.
  4. Save the translations.

Translations use the same localization system as the rest of RepairPlugin. Customers see the checklist in their language if translations are configured.

Frequently asked questions

Does the checklist show on custom Thank You pages?

No. The checklist only appears on the default RepairPlugin Thank You page. If you redirect customers to a custom WordPress page (configured under Settings > Checkout & Discount > Thank You Page), the checklist won't be shown.

Can I add different checklists for different repair types?

No. There's one checklist for all bookings. You can't show different items based on the device or repair type. Keep your items general enough to apply to most repairs.
