The Layout & Navigation settings allow you to control how repair lists and services are displayed on the front end. These options help improve usability, mobile responsiveness, and overall customer flow during the booking process.

All changes made here affect how customers move through steps and interact with repair options.

Where to Find Layout & Navigation Settings

To access these options:

  1. Go to RepairPlugin β†’ Settings

  2. Open Front-End Steps

  3. Navigate to the Layout & Navigation section

Available Layout & Navigation Options

Main Heading HTML Tag

This setting controls the HTML tag used for the main heading displayed on the front end.

  • Options typically include H1 & H2

  • This setting is mainly for SEO purposes

  • Styling remains the same regardless of the selected tag

Tip: Use H1 if this is the main heading on the page. Use H2 if the shortcode is embedded within existing page content.

Margin Top in Pixels for Fixed Repairs List

This option allows you to set spacing above the fixed repairs list.

  • Enter a numeric value in pixels (for example: 90)

  • Useful if the repair list overlaps with headers or navigation menus

  • Helps fine tune spacings

Hide Step with One Option

When enabled, this option automatically skips a step if there is only one available choice.

  • Improves booking speed

  • Reduces unnecessary clicks

  • Creates a smoother customer experience

This is especially useful when certain steps rarely have multiple options.

Require Choosing Color

When enabled, customers are required to select a color before proceeding to the next step.

  • Prevents incomplete selections

  • Ensures accurate repair identification

  • Recommended for devices where color matters

100% Width on Mobile

When enabled, the RepairPlugin shortcode expands to full width on mobile devices.

  • Improves readability on small screens

  • Creates a cleaner mobile layout

  • Recommended for most mobile setups

Show Price Label Service Method

This option displays the price label inside each service method box.

  • Makes pricing more visible

  • Improves price clarity for customers

  • Helps reduce confusion during selection
