Create a customized experience for users who speak different languages. This guide covers how to add, edit, remove, and download languages. These languages are used in various functionalities, including Default Repairs, Email Notifications, and all text related to booking an appointment.

Downloading a Language

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Download > Download Languages

Select all languages you want to download in RepairPlugin. It will add a language in the language selector on the booking plugin, add notification emails and these languages to the Default Repairs, causing all connected repairs to be translated also.

Add, Sort or delete Languages

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Localization > Setup Translations

You can add your own language by clicking on the button "Add Language". Add the name of the language and the Alternative name should be the name that the language users are using themselves so they can recognize their language.

Sort Languages

You can change the sorting that will appear on the front end of the website in the language selector. Simple drag or click the arrows to change the order.

You can also add a different image flag, change names, or delete the language. You can also hide a language, turning it off with the switch in order to work on the background, adding language strings while customers can't see the language.

Make a language the default language

The default language will be the first language every visitor will see, and it will be the main language used in all the repairs text at Default Repairs and Models & Repairs in the back end.

Notifications & Quotes

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Notifications & Quotes

You can recognize every translatable text with the Globe icon displayed in the text field. Click in the field and add your own strings.

Tip: The email message contains HTML, click on inspect > Source code and copy the source code from another language to skip building up the correct styling.

Default Repairs

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Default Repairs

You can recognize every translatable text with the Globe icon displayed in the text field.
Click in the field and add your own strings.

Front-end Steps

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Front-end Steps > Steps Translations

Click on the different categories to add the language strings. After clicking on a category, you can recognize every translatable text with the Globe icon displayed in the text field. Click in the field and add your own strings.
