This feature allows you to convert visitors into customers, even if specific prices for repairs haven’t been set.

Understanding “Price on Request”

When a repair is listed with a price of “0,” it will automatically display as “Price on Request.” This helps you start converting visitors into customers immediately.

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Settings > Checkout & Discount

Booking Options for “Price on Request”

When a customer selects a repair with “Price on Request” and proceeds to the next step, you can choose between two paths:

1. Allow Appointment Booking with “Price on Request” Repairs

This option lets the customer continue by choosing a service method, date, and time for their repair.

2. Don't allow Appointment Booking with “Price on Request” Repairs

Here, the quote popup is shown to the customer, preventing them from booking until they have reviewed the price. This helps avoid cancellations if the price is too high or not of interest to them.

Next Steps After Choosing Booking Option

Option 1: Allow Appointment Booking

The appointment status will be either Approved or Pending, depending on your configuration settings.

Option 2: Don’t Allow Appointment Booking

You will have two further options:

  1. Set the Price Before creating the Appointment
The appointment status will be “Price on Request.”

  2. Create the appointment

This option allows you to give the customer the price later, either in person or after receiving the device, without using the RepairPlugin to give the price.

Customer interaction

When a customer requests an quote or schedules an appointment with “Price on Request,” the appointment enters a pending phase.

  1. The customer will receive a message, thanking them for their request and letting them know a response will follow shortly.

Customizable in the Notifications & Quotes section

  2. To move the appointment out of the pending phase, you will need to set a price for the repair. Once the price is set, the customer will receive a quote email with a link to confirm their appointment.

Setting a Price for “Price on Request”

You can set the price in two different ways:

  1. For the Current Appointment Only

  2. For All Recent and Future Appointments
This option applies the price to all appointments from the last 7 days where the repair is listed as “Price on Request” and hasn’t yet been priced, as well as to all future appointments. The updated price will be visible immediately.

Setting a Repair to “Free”

When importing models and repairs, all repairs will be automatically set to “Price on Request.” because the price is "0". If you’d like to offer a repair for free, go to Models & Repairs and check the “Free” box for the relevant repair.
