RepairPlugin does not require you to code anything on your website. Simply paste a shortcode on your desired page, and the design and features are automatically integrated.
What are shortcodes?
Shortcodes are simple text commands you can add to your website to display RepairPlugin features. They work in text boxes, page builders, and other WordPress elements. These shortcuts allow customers to navigate through categories, brands, and models, view repair prices, and book appointments seamlessly.
How it works:
RepairPlugin uses a step-by-step process to help customers choose the right category, brand, and model for their repair needs.
Available Shortcodes:
Show all steps
This is the main shortcode that includes all steps (category, brand, and model). Customers can view repair prices, request quotes, and book appointments.
[Repair_All]
Pre-Select a Category
Shows a specific category (e.g., "Smartphone") pre-selected.
Go to RepairPlugin > Categories, select the desired category, and copy the shortcode icon.
Example:
A page where "Smartphone" is pre-selected, prompting users to choose a brand.
Pre-select Category AND Brand

Go to RepairPlugin > Categories, select the desired brand, and copy the shortcode icon.

Go to RepairPlugin > Models & Repair, choose the desired model, and copy the shortcode icon.

Adds a search bar to help users quickly find their model.
[Repair_Search_Box]
Example: A search bar on the homepage that guides customers to the correct model.
Pre-Select a Location (for Location-Based Pricing)
When using location-based pricing, this shortcode skips the step where customers select a location.
Go to RepairPlugin > Enhanced Locations > Locations, and select the shortcode.
If you don't see the icon, you need to activate Pricing based on Location on RepairPlugin > Enhanced Locations > Settings.
Language Pre-Selected
With Polylang translation plugin RepairPlugin will automaticallyy select the right language.
If you are using other language plugins or If RepairPlugin does not automatically recognize the language of your page, you can use the language
attribute in the shortcode. The LANGUAGE NAME
column from Settings > Localization is used for this purpose.
Shortcode Example:
English (US):
[Repair_All language="English (United States)"]
Dutch:
[Repair_All language="Dutch"]
French:
[Repair_All language="French"]
How do you place a shortcode?
Shortcodes can be placed anywhere on your website. Examples include text boxes, page builders, and virtually all elements that support WordPress shortcodes. Sometimes a theme can cause conflicts, so it's best to place the shortcode in an HTML box within page builders.
Step 1
Copy the desired shortcode using the instructions above. Don't forget to add the [Brackets] symbols at the ends:
[example]
Step 2
Go to WP Dashboard > Pages.
Find the page where you want this shortcode to be and click on Edit.
Go to the WordPress editor and click on the plus symbol.
If you're using a Page Builder like Elementor, WP Bakery, or Divi, follow Step 3.
Search for shortcode and select the element.
Paste or type the desired shortcode in the text box.
Check the layout settings on the right side and set the page to full-width. This provides the best visual effect.
For the optimal visual effect, the page should be at least 1200px wide.
Click Save or Publish.
The plugin is now active on your page.
