The Analytics Email Report sends a weekly summary of your RepairPlugin activity directly to your email. The report includes key metrics such as appointments, quotes, repairs, and accessories from the previous week.

This feature helps you track performance without logging into the dashboard.

Cron Job Requirement

Analytics emails require a cron job to run in the background.

If a cron job is not set up, emails will not be sent.

Setting Up the Cron Job

RepairPlugin provides a ready-to-use cron command and article here:

php /home/yourpath/public_html/wp-content/plugins/Repairplugin-pro/cron.php rp > /dev/null 2>&1
  • Replace php with the PHP path recommended by your hosting provider

  • Set the cron schedule to run every 5 minutes

Recommended cron timing:

*/5 * * * *

Cron Job Status

  • Last Run shows when the cron job last executed

  • If it shows N/A, the cron job has not run yet

Once the cron job runs successfully, analytics emails will be processed automatically.

Best Practices

  • Always configure the cron job before enabling reports

  • Choose a weekly closing day that matches your business schedule

  • Set a send time when emails are likely to be reviewed

  • Verify email delivery after initial setup

When Should You Use Analytics Email Reports?

This feature is useful if:

  • You want weekly performance summaries

  • You manage multiple locations

  • You prefer email reporting over dashboards

  • You want consistent business insights.
