RepairPlugin sends out email notifications for various events, such as:

  • Booking Pending

  • PDF Offer

  • Booking Approved (Come by our store)

  • Booking Approved (Send device)

  • Booking Canceled

  • Price On Request

  • Reminder appointment (X hours before booking)

  • Aftersale email (X hours after the booking)

Each notification can be enabled, disabled, and customized individually from the email settings.

Automatically Approve Bookings

This means that any bookings made will be automatically approved without requiring manual approval from you or your staff.

Use customer details as a sender while sending duplicate email

Enabling the option when sending duplicate emails can be helpful when sending emails to a support ticket system. By using the customer's name and email address as the sender, incoming emails will be handled as new tickets, making it easier to keep track of customer inquiries. To enable this option, simply toggle the switch in your email settings.

Send duplicate email

When Send Duplicate feature is on, a duplicate email will be sent to the email address associated with the relevant location. You can also send admin email notifications using the Send Duplicate option.

You can change the email address at

Go to: RepairPlugin Pro > Company Information > Specific Location

  • The same email sent to the customer is also sent to the shop admin

  • The duplicate email is delivered to the Company Email configured in your settings

  • If Enhanced Locations (Scale plan) is enabled, the duplicate email is sent to the email address assigned to the selected location instead

This allows shop owners and staff to receive internal confirmations whenever a customer books an appointment.

Admin Only Section

Within the email editor, RepairPlugin provides an Admin Only Section.

Content added to this section:

  • Is included only in the admin duplicate email

  • Is hidden from the customer-facing email

This can be used for internal notes, approval links, operational details, or other admin-only information.

Setup Cronjobs for reminder and aftersale email

Cron jobs are scheduled tasks that run automatically at specified intervals on a server. They are an essential part of managing and automating repetitive tasks in the background, without the need for manual intervention. Cron jobs are particularly useful for our function to send Aftersales and reminder emails before or after the time of an appointment.

Troubleshooting Email Notifications

If emails are not being received:

  • Confirm the relevant email notification is enabled

  • Check that Send Duplicate is enabled for admin notifications

  • Verify the Company Email or Location Email is correctly configured

  • Review Email Logs to confirm emails are being sent

  • Ensure SMTP settings are properly configured

If issues persist, please contact RepairPlugin support for assistance.
