The Cache settings help improve the performance and responsiveness of RepairPlugin on the front end. These options are designed specifically for RepairPlugin and automatically clear cached data when changes are made, ensuring customers always see the most up-to-date information.

Where to Find Cache Settings

To access cache and performance options:

  1. Go to RepairPlugin → Settings

  2. Open Caching & Performance

Smart Cache

Enable Smart Cache

Smart Cache is a multi-layer caching system built specifically for RepairPlugin Scale.

When enabled:

  • Frequently used data is cached to improve load times

  • Cache is automatically cleared when changes are made

  • Customers see updated content without manual intervention

Cache Information

The cache panel displays:

  • Cache Size – the current size of cached data

  • Cache Version – the active cache version

  • Full Cache Cleared – when the cache was last fully cleared

Clear Cache

Click Clear Cache to manually clear all cached data.

This is useful if:

  • You recently made changes and want to force a refresh

  • You are troubleshooting display or pricing issues

  • You want to immediately invalidate cached content

Pre-load Next Step

Enable Pre-load Next Step

This feature improves front-end speed by preloading the next step in the booking flow.

When enabled:

  • The next step (top results) is loaded in advance

  • Navigation between steps feels faster

  • Browser short-term memory cache is used

Note: The preloaded data is cleared as soon as the user refreshes the page.

For best results, use this option together with Smart Cache and Optimized Ajax.

Optimized Ajax

Enable Optimized Ajax

Optimized Ajax improves performance by limiting which plugins are loaded during RepairPlugin Ajax requests.

When enabled:

  • Only selected plugins are loaded

  • Server load is reduced

  • Ajax responses are faster

Active Plugins

Under Active Plugins, you can choose which plugins are allowed to load during RepairPlugin’s Ajax requests.

⚠️ Important:

  • Keep essential plugins enabled (for example, SMTP plugins for email delivery)

  • Enabling or disabling plugins here only affects RepairPlugin’s optimization process

  • This does not disable plugins site-wide

Saving Your Settings

After making changes:

  1. Click Save Settings

  2. Clear cache if needed

  3. Test the front-end booking flow
